History: Vanessa was the only child born to a pair of Rainbow Paint Wolves. She had a good childhood and made it to adulthood without any significant issues. However, she was fascinated with magic and witchcraft and began to experiment, specifically with healing. She made a good living helping people cure their illnesses until the day when she tried to cure the pain that she had felt in her left front leg after she had surgery as a child. The spell backfired and caused various parts of her to begin rotting and falling off. In a panic, Vanessa started looking for someone who could help her. Finally, she found an old hermit who she suspected was one of the Founders who stopped the curse from spreading. The blackened parts of her body was what had been enchanted to grow back with her tail paint now giving off a glow and she stopped experimenting with magic although continues to help heal people.
Thoughts on Corpses: Vanessa has no particular opinion on corpses. She knows that they were once living beings and feels sad that the spark that made them alive is gone and views a body in general as simply the container of said spark. However, this doesn't mean that she would treat a corpse disrespectfully; she would of course give them a burial or otherwise lay the body to rest because that's what most want.
