This is Abalone. How I imagine him, at least. He is a male Seawing, and he appeared in Talons of Power, the 9th book in the Wings of Fire series. I'll tell a quick summary of stuff, but if you haven't read Talons of Power, don't read on. Unless you don't mind spoilers.

Abalone was a male Seawing. He was a guard of the SeaWing Royal Hatchery. In Talons of Power King Gill found him in the Royal Hatchery with a growth on his neck. He sent Prince Turtle to find Snapper to guard the eggs while Abalone gets to the medics. Turtle did not return, and Abalone's growth kept getting bigger. King Gill couldn't wait any longer. He went to get the medics himself. When he returned with the medics, the growth had popped and Abalone was unconscious. The two female eggs he had been guarding were crushed. When King Gill talked with Queen Coral, she ordered Snapper and Abalone to both be executed.
