I woke up and saw a shape in the darkness

I asked a bit more loudly this time

Came a low growl. Follow me otherwise you’ll get eaten or killed by the big cats and the other things lurking around at this time of night. Not that I would care came the low growl again.
‘’how do I know to trust you’’

He growled

He set a fast pace, I nearly had to sprint to keep up to his side.
