The rain drenched Kaira, and thunder boomed all around. A spear of lightning alluminated the darkness for a heartbeat, then everything went black again. The gales tugged at her fur, and tried to throw her further into the clouds, but she fought it, and dragged herself on, each almighty flap of her wings feeling like nothing but a tiny flutter.
She couldn't find her way in this cloud, that seemed to reach on forever. Everything was dark, and nothing stirred.
She was lost in the storm.
