Ikigai (生き甲斐, pronounced [ikiɡai]) is a Japanese concept that means "a reason for being."
Ishi (石, pronounced [eeshee]) is a Japanese word meaning stone.
These creatures have been in hiding for many years. Although found all over the world, Ikigai
haven't been on Earth for long. From a galaxy far far away, they came to Earth to find food.
Not many planets have food that can sustain them. They're gentle if treated well.
Ikigai can be large, about the size as a horse (4.7-
6 Ft) or as small as a Great Dane (30-34 inches) . They have a natural medium pelt length, but it is longer around the neck. Their Anteni, have a natural soft glow, and at some times, transparent. They're diet mostly consists of meat, but love fruit and vegtiables.
Life Stones
Life stones are their source of life. They help with healing of their body, and provide 'a second heart'. The average number of Life Stones, is 2. If one is shattered, or destroyed, the second will provide for them. If all of them shatter, the Ikigai Ishi will become extremely weak. The stones usually are the color of the eyes, but that isn't always the case.
