Quirks
For Faraday, quirks are frequent and not so far fetched. Often termed a rather 'volatile' cat in the sense he just doesn't stop moving, making his name rather appropriate. This kitty is constantly fidgeting, making the only time he ever is somewhat still is when he is sleeping; when awake, he is known to pace in a sort of 'stalkerish' motion whenever anything strange enters his home, and if confronted Faraday either makes excessive amounts of eye contact or no eye contact at all. Sometimes Faraday can just be found staring, often creeping any guests out. He's jokingly named the paranoid guard cat for these weird quirks.
Above all, Faraday's most noticeable quirk is tied to his absentmindedness. Often confused and forgetful from how many thoughts are running through his head at once, he often does two things. He's known for a poor memory for one, and as of recent he's brought in random things in order to get him to remember. It's kind of something like 'why is there a giant frying pan in the middle of the living room? Oh, that's right, I put it there because I wanted to remember I have a date today'. It seems amusing at first until it just gets plain weird, finding toilet paper in the kitchen or a smelly fish placed strategically by a bedroom pillow.
His other noticeable quirk is what he calls his 'skipped moments'. Because Faraday is always thinking, sometimes he often 'skips' trains of thought and returns to them later. They'll come to him randomly; sometimes he'll be in the middle of eating and suddenly he'll burst out finishing a sentence he said a week ago. If he's thinking of some unfinished task ("I forgot to finish planting!") he'll absolutely drop everything and go finish it in that moment if he can.
Personality
Faraday’s most noticeable quality is his intelligence, by far. This cat is one that can open the front door, without any help or thumbs. Nothing can stop him when it comes to figuring something out, if there’s an issue that’s stumping everyone? Faraday’s got it all under control. The only downfall to his intelligence? Sometimes he’s got it ‘too’ under control. This goes to say, Faraday tends to overthink some situations and, consequently, brings a wave of paranoia upon himself. Example being; here, there’s a new disease around. A minor cold, if anything. Faraday can come up with multiple ways to die from the disease as well as the conclusion that it’s the end of the world, despite the new disease being a mere cold. Intelligent over-thinking and paranoia aside, Faraday is the greatest friend you could’ve asked for. Not too much and a joy to talk to, you couldn’t ask for someone better. When he’s not worrying about his own predictions, he’s worrying about you and your safety.
