Btw the 'You all lied' would signify the fact Jonathan lived in a lab where worked promised they'd keep him safe and protected no matter what.
Then he was kept in horrible captivity (aka a really small space) and was injured (but Jane fixed it because he's a fur suit)(I won't spoil how he was injured)
