Her eyelids gently drifted upwards, viewing the bright spring sun through the window. She saw the birds soar with grace and beauty, effortless gliding the gentle winds. She saw the ferns and ivy wrap and engulf the pale, winter-ridden trees in life. Deer and rabbits stride the lawn, sniffing at the newly-ripe berries. This day was beauty in all of it's definition, for was it not only pleasing to the eyes, yet complimented other emotions with the robin's chirp and aroma of strawberries drifting about. This was peace for her, and all that was good. It was hope for life, and not the bitter cold of winter.
