LORE/HISTORY:
The Emikar are a fascinating species that have history dating as far back as we can tell. According to some legends, it was in fact them who created the elements; others say the elements created them. With each and every Emikar having elemental powers, this could hold some truth to it. For many generations, they have lived in a vast kingdom, large and strong; many battles were fought for the lush lands. Their tails of course, helped massively, the strong blade easily a weapon you would not wish to encounter. Though they were not all war and territory oriented. The Emikar believe in peace, but when pushed to fight they would do so; many Emikar were guardians who looked after and protected the earth.

Many legends surround a great leader of the Emikar named "Lorion." It is not known if he ever truly existed, or if he was created from their imaginative minds. As the tales go, he fought many battles against hundreds of thousands of monsters who threatened his kingdom, and he led many victorious battles. But he fell into madness for the stress and burned of responsibility for protecting everyone. He eventually lost his mind and was sealed away to protect others from himself. He supposedly still rests somewhere in a hidden tomb or chamber to this day.

They are also known to gently mourn over other creatures killed merely for food. They respect nature, and believe that there are many spirits in the wilderness. Some rumors even claim that Emikar are spirits themselves.
What is fact and fiction, we may never know. What we do know is that these are beautiful creatures, with rich lore, fables, and myths, and their history is quite fascinating.


About:
All Emikar have a blade tiped tail. This is what greatly symbolizes them and they are very proud of their blades. If ever one was to loose their blade in a fight or be insulted they would become depressed or very angry.

All Emikar are connected to an element. The most common are Fire, Wind, Earth, and Water; but occassionally you'll find one connected to Lightning, Shadow, Space, or other rare elements.

Common:
~Normal wolf/canine edits
~Fluff
~Claws

Uncommon:
~Lynx ears
~non-canine alterations (hooves, horns, spikes etc.)
~Reptilian eyes

Rare:
~Two toned eyes
~Two elements
~Curved or Scythe Bladed tail
~Scales

Very Rare:
~Two tails
~Wings
~Oposing elements (like was both fire and water elements)

Rules:

1. Only me and Drasheep (my partner) can create Emikar unless you are given permission as an artist or staff member.
2. You may use your Emikar as Fursonas, Characters, etc. just make sure you always give credit for the species to me and Drasheep and then to whoever was the artist for your design.
3. You may not sell any Emikar. If you wish to trade Emikars with another person both parties must be in agreement and you must contact me or Drasheep reguarding your trade.
4. There is no limit to however many you can adopt.
5. No whining and asking constantly when any new adopts, customs, or nursery batches (will work on nursery in the future) will be made/released. We will get them out when we can.
6. Don't ask to be an artist. When we are in need of new artist or any guest artist we will post an announcement.
7. You can't change your Emikars gender. Once you've decided its gender it stays that way.
8. Every month we will have a raffle for 3 custom Emikar. Specific rules will be given in the thread for it.
9. Overall use common sense and don't be rude to others. Don't harass any staff, artist, or mods.
