(Alright, before I begin, my hate for joke art doesn't mean I hate it when somebody draws joke art maaaaybe once or twice.I mean hating it when people OVER CREATE joke art. I'm fine with it if it's a one or two time thing, but if a persons gallery is COMPLETELY FILLED with joke art, then that's what upsets me. Also this is my opinion don't witch hunt me.)
Alright then, my second Let's Talk! I'm happy the people who read it and commented completely understood what I was saying and if you were one of those people, thanks for understanding! So, let's begin this one. I really dislike joke art. Despite the title, I only really hate hate joke art when people ONLY make joke art. I dislike joke art because I really think that it overshadows the, y'know, art people try on. You might be saying, "Oh Sugar! How's that possible? It's just joke art right? Nobody's gonna pay attention to it stupid!" Well sir ma'am sir you'd be wrong. For some reason, people think joke art is the sacred holy lord art for some reason. Yeah when people like it and comment how it's so amazing it's usually sarcasm or also a joke, but the thing I have a problem with is when they do that, the serious and good art gets buried. Also a lot of people like to spam like 50 second joke art for some reason, which is more annoying than you think, because it also buries serious and good art. The joke art also clogs up the beginners(usually the beginners) oekaki like to the point where I can't browse the forum without at least seeing two pieces of joke art (at the least) on the same page. It's kinda upsetting. As I mentioned, they take the spotlight and likes of the good art and most people usually only make joke art for the popularity. Anyhow, that concludes my rant (For now at least) and uh yeah. Don't witch hunt me and attack me please ;w;
(Before I end this I wanna mention I HAVE made joke art, but when I did it came back to bite me when I made more serious art so I don't make it anymore mkay)
