I'll probably fix it soon, but anyways, this is Noodle (Dog) and Anthem (Dead cat). So basically Anthem's father (literal demon) tried to attack Noodle (Anthem's friend and Traveling Companion) in revenge for Anthem's previous attempt to murder him. So basically Anthem, Noodle, and Anthem's siblings had set up camp on a large mountain cliff side, so Anthem was able to throw his father over the edge of the cliff, but at the cost of his own life. This is basically just Noodle (Which is the best name for OCs) mourning him.
