Ok, so after getting a couple more questions I'm going to leave this post here so hopefully no one else will be confused. I know with all the new rules and stuff it can get pretty confusing. And because we haven't done draw to adopts on DA really, so it's new ^^;
First of all, since this is a DA adopt, you can win it and it doesn't count against your monthly limit on the main thread. It counts against your DA adopt limit (of two a month) even though this isn't a points/usd auction.
Anyone is welcome to enter, as long as they have a DA.
The art doesn't have to be colored, but it is preferred. If it's traditional or you can't color it for some reason, it's highly preferred you make an attempt at replicating the design (by pencil shade/etc.)
The art does have to be by you. I'm looking for expressive or character-building art so quality isn't as much a factor. I mean, by all means, do it the best you can do but don't worry if you're not a professional artist. Obvious effort paired with expressive and/or character building art will get you a lot further than a high-quality sketch of the character looking at the screen.
You can win it for someone else. If so, it counts against their DA adopt limit instead of their gifting limit as long as you tell me when you try out or right after you win.
I only want one art piece. A couple of comic panels are fine, but I don't want multiple art of the character.
Finally, it is highly preferred the art go to the winner, however if you feel yours it too character-specific or don't want them to use your art for other various reasons, then just say so when you post your entry. Then the person who wins will know that they can't use your art and doesn't have to private message everyone involved to ask.
