Mountain Tignix #02- Silver Tabby

Postby ImmyWimmy1 » Mon Feb 06, 2017 10:59 am

What are tignix? wrote:Tignix are big cats which share tiger-like features (head and leg shape) and cheetah-like features (body and tail shape, and non-retractable claws.) There are three different subspecies of tignix which live in different habitats: the mountain tignix, the forest tignix and the plains tignix. Unlike other mammals they have the ability to produce strong green and blue pigments and can come in a wide variety of colours. They are highly sociable and live in packs with a matriarch, a dominant male and several other subordinates within both genders, with cubs right at the bottom of the pecking order. The gender ratio within the packs is usually even since tignix mate for life.

Favourite cat breed and why: My favorite cat breed is the moggy, because there are so many colors that are acceptable for the breed--anything goes! I am writing a Warriors fanfiction series, and after a one generation, all of the cats are moggies because despite a few being descended from purebred breeds, they breed with each other and I think you get the picture. However, they do end up having some interesting colors and genetics; for example, Birchclaw's descendents have the possibility of having the silver gene, as his father was a silver tabby show cat. Then, there are Rainfang's descendents, who may have ticked tabby, because she is one, even though she didn't pass it down to her first kit. In addition, my grandmother's cat was a golden-brown (genetically black tabby) molly, who will always hold a special place in my heart.

Favourite cat breed and why: Ragamuffin cats! They're huge and fluffy and sweet, just like giant plushes <3 My best friend just got a Ragamuffin kitten and she's so precious and loving!

@SpartanAmethyst: If you finish your form before anyone else posts a complete form, this tignix is all yours.

Otherwise this is now a F.C.F.S to the first completed form! =^3^=

XD Thank you! I'm thinking of making Pebble, Emerald's mate. In the case that they do breed, would the kit be one species or the other, or would it be a hybrid between the two?

The cub(s) would be a hybrid of the two subspecies, as the parents are from two separate subspecies. =^u^= <3
