Ever get that feeling that animals can sense human emotions?

Two characters that a friend and I made up. I'm not so good at humans yet, so helpful crits are welcome.

I'm not wery good drawing humans myself, but two things I noticed here about the antomy: The shoulders are too slim, and the breasts should be placed lower x) hope you find that helpful, because other that that, this is a nice drawing

and yes, I have felt like animal sensing you emotion. I have a dog, and one time I was sad she laid her front legs on my lap(I was sitting in a chair) and licked my hand before she got down and laid down by my side weird behaviour for her to be. ^^'

Animals do sense feelings. I noticed this many times. I can be sad and my dog will stay with me the whole time. I can be mad and my dog will lick my hand,wanting to be forgiven. I can be happy and she'll want to play with me. I get sleepy,so does she.
