Soot got her name from her fuzzy black coat, her nickname is "Coal", because of her gray-white speckles.
Soot loves astronomy, she's always wanted to travel to space and study stars. She's always been curious about the feeling of stars, even though she's almost positive she could never touch them. She assumes they feel rocky, like planets.
As a small Teabie, she loved dressing up in tea cups, pretending she was an astronaut. This, however, got her in a lot of trouble with her parents. Especially the fact that she would stay up all night watching videos about space, and watching the night sky pass by.
Overtime her parents became much more understanding, agreeing to send her to a special class to learn about stars.
From then on, she studied about stars the whole time. While others might have found this stressing, Soot loved it. She was overjoyed about spending hours upon hours reading about stars and planets, galaxies and meteors, earning her A+'s almost every single time.
When Soot grew up, she was shocked when she went back to her school for the last time. Her tutors asked her if she was ever wanting to take a trip on a spaceship, into outer space.
Being the star-crazed Teabie she was, she nodded happily, and her tutor gave her a note that read the following:

Space station note wrote:"We are glad you have taken up the chance to ride with us to the moon.
There have been recent discoveries of living organisms arriving
on the moon, leaving us to investigate.
Us and your tutor have decided to bring
you along. With your years of hard work, you seem perfect to
help us identify everything.
You shall meet us at the space station on January 30th, 2017, At 7:45 PM PST.
We are looking forward to your presence."

▌Arriving at the space station, ▌Soot was given
▌the normal space outfit, an ▌astronaut helmet,
▌suit, oxygen tank, the works.
▌Being dressed in the bulky ▌suit, she was put on
▌the ship with two other ▌famous astronauts, A fox
▌named "Cook", and a german ▌shepherd named "Ash".
▌
▌She bonded with her ▌newfound friends on the way
▌to the moon.
▌
▌Halfway to the moon, alarms ▌started blaring, the
▌screen on the ship connected ▌to the computers in
▌the space station. The space ▌station briefly told
▌them to abort the mission as ▌fast as possible,
▌before static took over the ▌screen.
▌Soot freaked out, she loved ▌space but she never
▌wanted to be trapped in it ▌forever.
▌Suddenly the ship started to ▌crush from the
▌pressure, the door behind ▌Soot swung open,
▌throwing her out of the ship ▌as her shipmates
▌desperately tried to save her.
▌
▌She blacked out from all the ▌stress, quickly
▌rethinking everything.
▌
▌Suddenly, she woke up. She ▌was breathing fine
▌for being in space, she was ▌worried she died and
▌this was just her soul leaving.
▌Much to her surprise, she was ▌still alive.
▌How, she did not know, but ▌she was happy about it.
▌
▌To this day, she has been ▌floating in space,
▌ending up in the galaxy ▌today. She mindlessly
▌floats around and watches ▌the meteors and stars fly by,
▌while stopping at planets and ▌eating the plants they grow,
▌all the while snug in her ▌space suit.
