Little Hound Bears

Little Hound Bears are small hounds mixed with bears. They were bred for hunting purposes as bears are strong & hounds are great a tracking. Instead they were small cuddly animals that loved to play. They still do like to hunt much not as much as playing. They earned the name of Little Hound Bears as their original name was going to be Hound Bears until we found out how small they were. Little Hound Bears are about the size of a small dog like a Dachshund but a bit bigger.

Diet

Little Hound Bears diet include many different berries from their bear side & different types of meat from their hound side. They will also eat fish & a select few fruits like apples.

Where They Live

Little Hound Bears mostly live in wide open plains & meadows as they love to run. They get this love for running from their hound side. They will also sometimes live in forests this coming from their bear side.

Facts

They are a bit bigger then a Dachshund.
They are cuddly creatures that love to run & play.
They have sharp claws that can come in & out like a cat.
During the winter they have loads of fur to keep them warm.
Over the summer they shed their fur like a dog.
They will hibernate like a bear during the winter but only near the end.
Their bear side comes from Black Bears & Brown Bears mostly!
Their dog side comes from Beagles,Basset Hounds & other hunting dogs!

Traits

Little Hound Bears do not have many traits but they do have a few. Their basic traits are like the one you see above on the cover! The can sometimes have no tail! Currently those are the only traits we know!

Little Hound Bear Cubs

Little Hound Bear Cubs are small balls of fluff. They cannot see or hear until they are two days old. After five days they will grow up from being a cub. A litter will always & only have two cubs.

Breeding

Little Hound Bears are able to breed but they must be opposite genders. It will take a week at the max for them to have cubs. They will have a little of 2 cubs each time they breed. A Little Hound Bear must have a one week cool down after breeding. A female Little Hound Bear will have up to three different mates & those will be the only ones she is aloud to breed with. A male though can breed with any female as they have many mates. If you would like to breed your Little Hound Bears go visit the nursery!
