Breezewater stands over the other medicine cat, hissing at the attacker. She has one paw raised, ready to strike if he comes near again. The sky darkens over the gathering as StarClan blocks out the moon.
Tonight, at the half-moon gathering, Breezewater will give Maplepaw her full name infront of the Moonstone. A small purr escapes her throat as she thinks about the medicine cat's gathering. Her peers will be pleased to know of Maplepaw's progress, and she knows they'll all be proud. Her thoughts drift to the medicine cats of the other clans. She can't wait to catch up with them tonight, and learn how they've been doing.
"Nightrise, Bluepaw," she dips her head to each in turn. "It's nice to see you both again. It's a fine night for traveling to the Moonstone, isn't it?"
Gazing fondly at her apprentice, she adds, "Maplepaw has come so far. She's dedicated, and generous, but she also isn't afraid to spaek her mind. I'm so proud of her progress."
