What gave them life from their stone prison?
After being encased in a stone prison for hundreds upon hundreds of years, the quiet place in which her statue body had been hidden away began to shake. Rocks began to crack down the middle, the earth convulsed, and loud rumbling and crashing sounds echoed in the clearing. The rock she (her stone statue) stood on trembled and cracked, causing the statue to tumble to the ground and shatter. Under the layers of broken rocks and dust, Toriella emerged, quivering and coughing, before looking around with large eyes full of surprise. After taking a step forward, the shocked cat looked down at her paw in disbelief. She could move again..? Her eyes widening, she took another step, staggered, then bounded away, finally leaving the clearing in fear of being trapped in her prison once more. She took one last glance at the spot where the stone she had been trapped in shattered, then slipped away behind a large tree. The origin of these earth-breaking quakes remain unknown.

xxxxxxxxxxxWhat gave them life from their stone prison? It has been hundreds of years Celeste had been trapped in her prison. She couldn't feel anything whilst she was trapped, just the constant feeling of being cold. At first she didn't mind it, but it slowly started to drive her crazy. Until one summers day when a young girl came across Celeste. The girl had been amazed at how pretty the statue was. Every day the young girl would come to Celeste, reading, drawing or just talking. Slowly Celeste began to feel warmth once again. Until one day, when the girl arrived Celeste was no longer there. The girl was upset, but her sadness soon stopped when Celeste poked her head out of the bushes to greet the girl. The girl was amazed and thanked the statue profusely as they dropped a flower at the girls feet. After that the girls visits became a lot more frequent. Twice maybe three times a day and Celeste began to feel the warmth flowing through her. Whenever there was a day the girl would not come she felt herself began to freeze up. Soon the girl grew up, she became old and had kids of her own. Celeste followed and stayed in the ladies garden. The children would play with her and Celeste had never felt such large amounts are warmth before. Until one day when the lady and her children did not come out into the garden to play. Celeste had begun to freeze again. Then, after another two days of being stuck in her place somone had brought a rather large but lovley looking box to where Celeste stayed. People had surrounded this box tears dribbling from their eyes. The box was buried and Celeste felt energy jolt through her. People left whilst weaping and her children who had grown went inside. Celeste still felt the warmth yet she couldn't find the lady. Until she felt those all to familiar arms hugging her. "I give to you, my love in thanks for that flower all those years ago." She spoke. Celeste felt warm again and she could move. "Wherever you go, I will be close." Celeste heard. And she realised that the only reason she was able to move was because of this persons love. Celeste smiled and dipped her head gratefully and began to walk away from the garden and the lady followed.
