Story
The mare squealed and snorted as she pranced along through the meadow, ears perked and tail swishing as she grinned to herself then shook out her coat. She huffed and looked over her shoulder, throwing a look back at her friend as he huffed and plodded along slower. There was no water in sight yet, so she could figure that was why he was moving so slowly, but she just shook her head as she continued to walk along, and her hooves rising and falling could be heard throughout this area (the falling part, anyhow). She pranced a bit as she turned to look back at the stallion, and she whinnied as if to say "Move your butt, Blue!" to which she could hear him squeal and snort as he seemed to roll his eyes and he shook his head.
She huffed as she sighed at this, releasing the breath in a long gusty sound as she continued to move along, sweeping her gaze back and forth then swinging her head around as she felt something bump up against her rump, and when she looked she saw Blue trotting beside her now. She huffed as she nipped at the stallion, then shook her head and trotted on. She squealed and suddenly dashed off, hearing him snort as he picked up his pace and began to chase after her, and she grinned as she ran. She smiled as the sun shone down on the two of them, as they continued to run with each other, in search of that stream that ran through that meadow.

Story
The bluish silver gray stallion was moving slow that day, snorting out breaths as he looked at the mare friend of his every now and then, ears flicked back as he shook his head at her and sighed as he continued to follow her. He saw her looking back at him when he raised his head up for a moment, and truth be told the reason he was acting so melancholy and slow today was because there was no sight of any source of water out here, none at all. He flicked his tail and squealed at her, then continued on as she kept walking ahead of him. When she half turned to seem to tell him to move his butt, he squealed and snorted as he swore he'd roll his eyes at her for real this time, as he shook his head at the mare.
He soon got the seemingly sudden desire to cause a little mischief, and with what almost appeared to be a smirk on his face he stole up behind her silently, and just as silently he bumped up against her rump, hearing her huff seconds before she nipped at him. They began to race each other through the meadow, and his ears flicked to and fro as he listened for any sound, any sound at all, that would indicate the stream was there. Finally, mercifully, he yanked his head up as he heard the tiny splish splish of water running over stones and little pebbles, and he whinnied at the mare as he butted her and headed for it...
