This looks cool! You asked for tips so lets see what I can do the background is super pretty and simple enough yet detailed enough at the same time I would just experiment with dodge and lightning and stuff to give the lights more effect and just in general it's good to use smoothing and a good amount of layers, you seem to be on the right track though and this piece is really good!
