Hello! Thank you for looking at my art!
This is a test piece, trying out a new art style since I'm not sure really how to shade in Oekaki yet.
I'm trying out new styles to avoid the really nice, smooth style I'm used to with Paint Tool SAI, Oekaki is so much different lol.
Can any experienced Oekaki artist help me, please, in figuring out how to shade in this new art program?
Any and all pointers will help a ton!

This actually looks really good for 15 minutes! Sadly I'm not the best at shading in oekaki, but I would suggest using several layers for it. That's what a lot of artists who use this program seem to do ^^;

I'm so used to having an amazing "blur" tool in Paint Tool SAI, makes shading easy and it's a pain not having it here >.<

pretty! i like it, its amazing ecpessially for 15 mins. It would have taken me like 30 mins to do a background and maybe 20 to do the wolf and 7 to do the shading that makes 57 mins

What I do (because I HATE doing layers so ANNOYING) is I use the spray paint tool,I turn the color to black,and I use that for shading.It works well if you're not in the mood for layers!
