This is something that recently happened between two friends of mine. I wanted to take a minimalist approach but still convey the exchange and how what each party was saying wasn't directly stating what they were feeling. I've been thinking about this exchange for a little while, and just wanted to draw it out, so...I guess this is vent art? Meh.

Anywho, I liked playing with muted colors - I often draw in bold, bright shades, so getting to dabble with darker tones that I felt were more appropriate for this piece was different and a learning experience.
