well, it all began with an empty book, a cup of hot lemon and ginger juice, a bad chest infection and a purple pet.
I joined in early 2015 after I couldn't attend school because of a bad chest infection. I was quick to get an "amazing" 2015 purple, swirly pet, and I dressed her up in the "best outfit" (a candy event wig, candy event dress, and several balloons.) I was bored, and I was quick to join the trend at the moment - not diaries - something else. I spent over 30 minutes figuring a name, a backstory, and a name for this amazing new character. I named her lauren, after my cousin, but one of my friends started saying, "if she's as old as time, she should be called laurentia, like the second continent." I adapted, changing her name. people were quick to notice the new cup - including two people that made it incredibly popular (so much so I couldn't keep up with the people wanting entries XD) - 20lait1 and jammytheblackpanther (now keems.) . I got lots of people sending me gifts of rare items and I upgraded my other characters in the cup, such as snowflake and oreo (now reuben). then, one day, some really cool person offered me a trade for a 2013 staff pet with a randomly generated name of "laury" and 1o chicken dollars. I accepted the trade (they'd asked for only about 5 uncommons in return.) I dressed up laury in a white, bought hoodie, and using the 1 dollar I had left I bought a stargazer lily. I put those items on laury, and after only a couple of weeks, new and upgraded laury was born.
-timeskip to about 6 months later-
keems (jammytheblackpanter - first person to join the cup) and I started a 1x1 between my character and their character, keema. I quickly developed laury to be the cute, girly, yet mature angel leader she is today, and I couldn't have done anything without these people
