Thaesems (pronounced Tay-sem) are large feline-like creatures which originated in Greece though have travelled and spread all over the globe. Sized slightly larger than a tiger they are very strong and can be ridden, Thaesems are carnivorous and and have an extremely strong jaw. In the wild they normally live in small prides of around four or five though some prides have been known to have ten or more members. Despite living in a pride Thaesems are solitary hunters. It was recently discovered that these large felines have a love for people and a strong family bond. If introduced at a young age they can also get along very well with other species like dogs and even herbivores.

• Do not attempt to make your own without permission, this is a closed species.

Thaesems are large, ridable felines. They are a recently discovered species and more things are being found about them every day.

Diet:
In the wild a Thasesem's diet is quite varied. It ranges from fish, to deer, to birds and other small mammals. Occasionally if food is scarce they will eat berries and shrubs but their digestive systems don't cope well with these foods. Domesticated Thaesems can eat your average dog or cat food but will largely prefer more meat-based dishes over dry food.

Social Order:
Thaesems live in prides with a simple order with an alpha leading the pride. Alphas can be any gender but are normally the strongest in the pride, although it's not uncommon to see the more intelligent members taking up the role of alpha. If the pride is large enough there may be a beta or second in command. Though members of the pride hunt on their own they share food. All members will band together to raise cubs.

Gender and Sexuality:
Much like people there is a large variety in gender and sexuality. Thaesems are very accepting and rarely discriminate against each other. Often you can find homosexual Thaesems just chilling because why wouldn't they?

Breeding and Relationships:
Thaesems do not have set relationships, some may mate for life while others just can't seem to settle down. Normally Thaesem pairings with cubs will stay together. Like most species only a male and female can have cubs although same-sex pairings have been known to 'adopt' cubs. Cubs often stay within the pride but some wander, either to start their own pride or just to travel. Thaesems have extremely good memory and can recognise friends they haven't seen in years.
