:What is a Kirnniu?:
Kirus are very good climbers and live in trees. have both fur and feathers. fur can vary from hairless to like 1 foot long. Sometimes matting can be an extreme problem. their feathers are on the back of their head, their back, and sometimes their tail. they use their tails to show their emotion, communicate, and find their mates. although they can communicate with noises, most prefer to use their tails (unless tailless). Kiru have fins that can be folded up on the backs of their front legs. They have these fins because they are extremely good swimmers. They use these fins to help propel themselves in the water. while swimming, these creatures make graceful mini-o's with their front paws while also moving them up and down in a doggie paddle (no splashing). they move their tales in a sweeping motion while swimming and use them for better steering. they hardly have to move their back legs at all, as long as they keep their tail above water, they only occasionally kick. Their feathers and fur are waterproof if groomed at least every 24 hours. Kirus are herbivores AKA they eat bugs, plants, and vegetables.
