To win this wolf, you'll have to show me some sort of cool candy not from the US! I love learning about other countries, and what better way to get to know them by their candy? Plus it gives me something to look forward if Donald Trump becomes president and I move out of the US bc of it. It would be fab if you could tell me where the candy hails from, too. But that's not required!
And yes, I was slightly inspired one of by Rockpelt's competitions (the one with Australian candy, ahh).

A popular candy around the world, but most especially known as a favourite in the Middle East, is called Turkish delight or loucum, which means “rest for the throat”. It has different variations: As manufactured in the West, the candy is made and processed from its basic ingredients such as sugar and starch, but it takes on other subtler forms in the Middle East—usually made of pistachios, chopped dates, and walnuts or hazelnuts. Originating from Turkey, it has been produced way back during the 15th century Ottoman Empire, and was later introduced to the western world during the 1800s. Usually packaged in small cubes, the candy has also become a major treat all throughout Britain and Continental Europe.

This Japanese “chocolate” bar doesn’t actually contain any chocolate (that part must’ve gotten lost in translation). However, it is chock full of strawberry (around 70% strawberry pulp). In fact, there are actual bits of strawberry in every bite, and the bar is a deep maroon hue, which makes a whole lot more sense than the flavorful-but-mind-boggling concept that is “blue raspberry.”
