As Pei ate her goldfish crackers, she sat down and looked out the window and saw the vast ocean. She suddenly started to daydream.
She was in water and the time was night. There was no one around, so Pei started to panic. After a small while, Pei gave up panicking and swam faster. The time seemed like hours, but she had gotten nowhere, no land to see, not even a light, other than the moon and stars that surrounded her. She slowly swam until she was out of breath, and she suddenly felt herself sinking, slowly, but sinking. She tried thrashing her arms and legs around, but it was no use. She was still sinking. Pei started to cling onto her memories, but the only thing she could focus on was how good the fish shaped crackers tasted, which wasn’t a useful thing to think about in this situation. Pei shut her eyes. A soft, silvery figure had brushed past Pei’s legs. Pei looked around and saw goldfish at her legs.
