A spooky creature..

The Nightclaws love eating birch trees. They usually follow their close realitive Forestwalkers to eat all the dead trees that they leave behind. Forestwalkers love to destory anythings in their path and the Nightclaws just wait till the destruction is over. They breathe a smoky mist and after a horde of Forestwalkers go through the Nightclaws dig into the bounty. They love sharpening claws on branches and bragging on how many trees they ate and such. They have a certain place where nesting females stay behind. The Nightclaws drag trees to their homes and feed their families. Many have tried to follow them to kill the Nightclaws off, believing them to be the cause of destruction. But Nightclaws chose well in a spot. Females teach the young how to hunt and defend themselves while the males pay no heed unless its to feed the female. The female does all the work until the hatchlings are old enough to go on their first forest raid. The Nightclaws use their long claws and sharp teeth to destroy the food they eat.
