The Narosar roams the grasslands where its eggs are usually found. It uses its long claws to dig up roots of long grasses and grubs. Its patterns are mostly used for attracting mates in the spring. The mothers of the hatchlings are very protective and are often found moving them from place to place. If there is more than one egg the mother will keep moving short distances, dropping one egg, and going back for the other. The fathers will follow the scent of the mother to her new nest and bring her grasses or grubs to feed her and his offspring. He will only appear to feed the mother, defend the nest, or teach any male hatchlings how to be a male Narosar. In the winter if a mother has hatchlings she will use her long tail to often cover them from the worst of the winds.
