What are Garbits?
Garbits are cat-like creatures with very strange features. Their most defining feature is the mouth. It has no teeth or tongue, but the Garbit can still smell and taste, very strangely. They have two fangs that can be seen when the mouth is closed or opened, and when opened, the mouth looks like a pentagon! A very strange one, at least.
Garbits are mainly carnivorous. They eat squirrels, rabbits, fish, and lots of other small forest animals. They wolf down their food real quick! They absolutely love berries. Even poisonous berries, because their strong immune systems and stomachs get rid of the poison. However, they get very spoiled with berries, especially kits. During their young age, teach them that berries are only a treat.
They also like to sometimes swim, unlike most felines. The three glands on their cheeks and chest, which are usually all the same color, store extra water just in case the Garbit gets dehydrated. They also glow in the dark, allowing the Garbit to navigate easier.
One of the strangest facts about Garbits is that when a pair gives birth, they can only give birth to 1 Garbit. Keep this in mind when breeding Garbits! Kits grow 3 days after birth- that is, if they don't have PPS! When a kit is released from PPS, they will grow in 3 days.
Garbits have very calm and friendly temperaments, and they love the company of humans. They make great and devoted pets! At a household, feed kibble to your Garbit twice a day, and feed them a berry afterward if they sit for you. They love to please! Will you adopt a Garbit?
