Description: Lupis are Big Cat and Wolf crossbreeds. They have the head of a wolf, varying types of ears, and a cat's eye. Their front legs are similar to a cat's, while the hind legs are that of a wolf. It's neck is similar to a cat as is it's spine, but the torso is mainly fashioned after a wolf's. Their tails come in varying shapes and sizes. The front paws have retractable claws, but the hind paws do not.
Markings: Lupis always have naturally colored bases. They can come in any color as long as it is realistic. They can have any color of eyes but yellow, brown, amber, and grey are the most common. They generally have unnaturally colored markings. Although there is not a lot of unnatural colors on them.(it's generally only accents)
Habitat: Lupis can live nearly everywhere. They can live in desert grasslands, forests, rainforests, plains, etc. They generally tend to live in places where they can hunt their prey and are very rare creatures in the wild.
Behavior: Lupis are very social creatures and live in clans of about 3-10 members. They have a strict hierarchy similar to that of the wolf. They are very structured creatures and are quite intelligent. They organize their hunts very well and make sure to take care of all of the members of their clans. Some Lupis are more antisocial and may travel alone or with one other Lupis. Some tend to do better on their own and each Lupis is unique.
Diet: Lupis hunt different types of prey depending on their location. They are omnivores, and can eat berries and meat. They prefer larger game like deer, but will occasionally rabbits and weasels if they don't have enough to eat.
Breeding/Offspring: Lupis are rather choosy when it comes to a mate. When they reach maturity at 2 years old they start searching for the perfect mate. It's not easy, and some Lupis spend years of searching. However, once they find a mate they are mates for life. When it's time for cubs to come along the litter size is from 1-4. Both parents help raise their cubs, and if they live in a clan then the whole clan assists them. Lupis cubs become involved with clan activities at 9 months old.
