Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. All of our animals are special and deserve a chance to be happy with an owner that will care for them. The question is: are you ready to love them?

He had a leash and collar when we got him... his leash was tied to the shelter's mailbox. Look's like we got an early Christmas present. He's a bit on the nervous and shy side, but it doesn't, didn't, take him long to open up. He tries to run as best he can with his little leg... we aren't sure what caused the cuts or what happened exactly, but they have healed up and now he just has a bit of a limp in that leg. When he's truly tired he'll just lift that leg up slightly and walk around on three legs. He's awfully sweet and would love a couple of kids or other dogs to play with.
