Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. This little pug was given to the shelter, the previous owner explaining they were going to be moving and that they couldn't take their precious pug with them. The owner was fairly upset when giving the dog up. Despite everything, the pug is quite healthy; no health, physical, mental issues to be found. It was clear that the dog was taken great care of. When staff tried to remove the pug's red collar though, he snapped and wouldn't let anyone touch him for at least five minutes. It seems that the red collar is not coming off. Minus the minor attitude over the collar, he is a well tempered dog and seems to be kid, as well as animal, friendly.

Why won't he let anyone take his collar off ?: Three Reasons.
1. He Has A Scar Lining Under The Collar, Thin And Long, He's Embarrassed About It And Refuses To Let Ahyone Take Off The Collar.
2. The Red Collar Has A Special Feeling With It Since His Last Owner Gave It To Him, And He Misses Them Greatly.
3. His Favorite Color Is Red, He Used To Play With The Owner With A Red Ball That Was Filled With Peanut Butter.

Why won't he let anyone take his collar off ?: Well . He doesn't really like people to take off his old owners scent was on it and it was the only thing he had in a memory of them and when he dies he wants it very close to him . And when he sees the color red it reminds him of fire . And every night him and his old owner (s) would watch fire burn somewhere . It was the most beautiful sight . The red flower . . . And also the collar was given to him by his owners son ''Skye'' . He died as a kid and Nibbles misses him very much .

Why won't he let anyone take his collar off ?:

Jack refuses for his collar to be removed.
With his old home, he escaped the backyard too often
but always got returned. He pieced together that
people were able to find his home from his collar.
The tags that dangle carried some sort of information
that people would always look at, and after that they would
pick up a phone and dial his owners number.
Jack realised that on his own,
therefore never wants his collar removed in hopes
he will be returned back home.
He doesn't understand he was left at
the shelter on purpose, with
the tags removed.

he loved his owner so much and one day while he was still with them he go lost in the park he has incredibly scared
and saw a teenage girl sitting by herself so he went over to her and she picked him up looking at his collar to see a tag.she brought him back to the grateful owner and ever since he doesn't want it off so that if he gets lost again he can go home
