I had way too much fun with this. These are fan characters of the Wings of Fire series.
On the left is Necra. She's a RainWing, born without wings, with some NightWing on her father's side. Her mother is the queen of the RainWings. Necra was a mistake, and her existence is treated as such by her entire kingdom, all except for her younger step-sister. The dragon to the right is Stormchaser, a SkyWing with exceptionally long wings. He is the pride and joy of the SkyWing kingdom, despite not being royalty, and revered by many of his pupils. However, he hates the pedestal that his name is always held so high aloft. It gets pretty lonely when everyone admires you not for who you are, but what you look like. Stormchaser loves flying, not because he's good at it, but because it's an escape from all of the attention. He wants to be treated like an equal, not like he's better or more important than anyone else. Eventually, both get dragged along on an adventure with some other dragonets; a young NightWing named Lightbringer who initiated the journey and looks up to Necra; Hippocampus, the easily startled SeaWing prince; Tornado, the easily irritated SandWing with some personal ghosts; and the cold IceWing warrior Khione, an iceborn, who has blood on her talons and many regrets.

This is probably my favorite part that I've done for this map.

Thanks! The idea is actually pretty old, but I've never written it down. I keep going back to it and developing it more, then getting really invested in the idea and drawing the characters over and over, then eventually get bored and switch to one of my other stories. The idea's actually from at least four or so years ago, but I still love it.
