Story/description
Nobody knows if they exist, except for me, because they do. Catlike ears with a long, spiked tail for fending off intruders. Wings to fly with. Normally on Pluto, but they adapt to any environment; even airfeeding, eating rocks, dirt, mud, etc.
Heres the story part
Aliens from outer space were studying humans on Earth. They took recent suspicions on the dominant species of Earth including, but not limited to: cats, wolves, and dragons, and formed one animal. They also created a bird-horse, with the knowledge and brain of an alien, creating a Pegasus. Suspicions on it say that it might be included in animals mutated and mixed with the rest. A lot of different animals, such as snakes, penguins, and raccoons might also be part of it, but most mutated out of it. Few still roam and fly through the galaxy today, their small noses mutating out of them because they are adapting to no need for air.
