Thanks for the complement! And I guess if you really are interested in my 'secrets', I'll just describe my art process. I start of with a preliminary sketch on one layer, then on a different layer I use the pen tool to fill in the sketch, making the shape for whatever I'm drawing. Then I hide the sketch. Once I have the shape, I use a smaller size pen to go around the perimeter and make fur details (basically scribbling around the edges). I lock alpha and use watercolor to scribble a fur-like texture in the shape and blend any lines between color changes in the markings. The face goes on a separate layer to make this process easier. After that I shade like crazy in areas where limbs and such are to give the illusion of a line being there. The shading is really what makes a lineless artwork look almost 3D.
