- Some notes on the anatomy and proportions of Aakerns under their feathers.
Proportions
I use a 100-size grid to measure out proportions.
Body: 3 x 1.25 box
Legs: 3 long (from spine down)
Head:1.25 long
Neck: 1 long
Tail: 5-6 long
Anatomy
Aakern hounds movement cycle is very similar to that of a dog.
The front nails are hard and flat as they are built to run (think; pigeon instead of eagle)
The back nails are retractable and the paws are very catlike (lack of fur = bony, look at sphynx cats for reference)
