Fanclub (coming after 25th snairy adopted!)//Nursery (coming soon!)//Main Post//Species Details//Customs & Store

Snairies are large snails - as big as the palm of your hand - with dainty wings. Discovered recently by scientists, they flock to gardens, especially those that grow clover, as the flowers of the clover are its favourite food! Gentle and omnivorous, snairies make great pets for children, and are happy to lounge in any garden. Snairies come in many strange and beautiful colours and patterns, both on the shell and their bodies, and it's not uncommon to see snairies with different wing shapes. Some snairies have even been found with mutations, like horns, fur, or even legs. They are intelligent, and farmers often enlist their help to clear out pests from their crops. They even understand human speech! Snairies have genders, but are sexless, and can breed with any other snairy to create cute tiny snairilets!

Rules:
You may own 20 snairies. This number may be increased later.
Do not copy, trace or steal the snairies species.
No whining.
No gifting or trading snairies.
No spamming. Marking is allowed.
Do not trade Golden/Crystal Clover. You can, however, gift.
You may own 5 custom snairies.
You may only own one OMGSR snairy, and cannot request an OMGSR custom snairy.
Artists can make an Uncommon snairy every 5 snairies they make, a Rare every 15, a VR every 30, and an OMGSR every 75. At your application, you can make one of each before you start counting down. To make an OMGSR, you must message eveadelekitty first. Keep track of how many snairies you make. I suggest putting which of your snairies it is in the post. However, please number the snairy out of all snairies made on the thread in the post title. These numbers do not apply to customs, and all artists get one free custom upon acception.

Snairies are large snails - as big as the palm of your hand - with dainty wings. Gentle and omnivorous, snairies make great pets for children, and are happy to lounge in any garden. Some snairies have even been found with mutations, like horns, fur, or even legs. They are intelligent, and farmers often enlist their help to clear out pests from their crops. What is a Snairy?
Snairies are rather large snails characterized by a pair of fairy wings on its shell which can somehow keep it aloft.

Anatomy
Snairies always have a shell and wings, and until recently many thought they had to have a snail's body too. However, a snairy with legs has been found. Their heads always have two stalk eyes (unless they have none at all), but they rarely have any feelers. Their transparent wings are usually very uniform in shape, but snairies with more intricate wings, butterfly wings, or other wings aren't uncommon. The rarest are the birdwinged and batwinged snairies. Some snairies have horns, hair, different kinds of shells, shell growths, etc., but these are harder to find. Snairies live for about 30 years, a surprisingly long time. One family owns a 70-year-old snairy.

Behaviour
Snairies live in small groups, or 'snairy rings', usually one ring to a garden. They are not territorial, and rings near to each other often meet and interact. There's usually a silent agreement to not eat the food on the other ring's territory, unless the two rings share one. Snairies enjoy interacting with humans, and will often help them to deal with pests, or prune their gardens. They are not pests themselves, as they don't eat very much of the plants. Snairies produce a dust from their wings that helps plants grow, causing many to plant clover to attract snairies to the yard. It is illegal to kill snairies, and there is no snairy pet trade (for similar reasons). Luckily to future snairy owners, they aren't rare.

Diet
Snairies are omnivorous, and eat leaves, grass, fruit, nuts, seeds, and smaller insects, especially pests like aphids. They do not eat spiders, bees, wasps or hornets. Their favourite food is clover flowers, and they also rather enjoy the leaves and stems of the plant. They do not eat any part of a plant that may kill it, and do not eat flower petals.
