[Kallico]

Trying to learn how to draw, and this is the result of one of my efforts. It looks kinda terrible, but I'm proud of myself for doing a full-bodied picture for once that actually looks cohesive. I'm learning how to make a super messy sketch, then tracing over it in different layers to create a decent picture; rather than expecting to get it right the first time which for me is impossible.

The reference/short tutorial is from "Manga for the Beginner, Chibis" by Christopher Hart

I couldn't get the ponytail right at all, and I just realized I forgot to add her shirt lol. Oh well. :) One day I'll stop being lazy, color her in and fill in the blank space.

But I have no real love or passion for a character from a tutorial honestly. :( Or is that just my excuse for being lazy?

Edit: I Oh I don't think it took me 4 hours, probably more like 2-3 hours.
