Lol, any people who plan celebrating midsummer this saturday? I know I'm gonna...
With Herring, sour herring, potatoes and dill, meatballs, strawberries and whipped cream and much more! <3
In my family we always have this party with over 50 people and we have fun games in teams, high music, we raise the maypole and dance around it while singing a song about little frogs and grandmas crow who can't drive ;u;
I love this with my whole heart!
This is a thing left from the vikings. They rose this pole and wished for a good harvest. This pole was supposed to fertelize the ground and they danced around it to praise the norse gods and make it as good as possible. Today we raise the pole for fun ^w^
