- Here's a cat that's terrified of caterpillars... but wait, there's a story!
I realized that I am really bad with first impressions.
Last August, I walked into my first class with a fuzzy green caterpillar on my green shirt. I didn't realize it was there until a few minutes after class started, but our English teacher had already started going over the syllabus. I didn't want to disturb class so I decided that I'd wait a half hour or so when the bell rings, so I could go outside and release it. That was a mistake. The caterpillar started crawling up my back and I'm a pretty ticklish person, so it was even more awkward sitting in the front row. At this point I had to ask my teacher if I can a Kleenex and take the caterpillar outside. Yeah, odd conversation. So after some prying, the cute fuzzy thing came off and I found a door outside. Then I got locked out... but luckily a janitor saw me knocking on the door and let me back in. That shirt took several washes to completely get all the spikes out and even though caterpillars are cute as heck, I probably won't look at one the same. Moral of the story: First impressions are only first impressions (I happened to make the most friends in that class). Also, be wary when wearing a green shirt outside during summer.
True story.
So, any first day nightmares, anyone? c:
The timer is a few hours off; I left my laptop on the whole day.
