Gender: Male
Likes: Akosua loves cool breezes, the smell of cooking chicken, and blacklights. The ocean is his everything, so his favorite past-time is to either run about and play in the sea with other tribe or pack members, or to simply sit on a high cliff and watch the sunset and it's reflection at sundown.
Dislikes: He hates cold weather. With a passion. He doesn't like people seeing him upset, that he hates asking for help, and that he is a bit too protective of his pack and tribe. Plus, for some extremely odd reason, he cannot stand the smell or taste of coconuts.
Why you would like to adopt him/her?: He is gorgeous, and the execution of the swirls was done brilliantly. Swirly, tribal looking designs always catch my attention, and the bright blue against the rusty-earthy brown is just amazing. Plus, as soon as I saw him a story was in my mind, which to me is always a good thing(:
History: Akosua lived in a house for the whole of his childhood. He was, unfortunately, a house pet. His owners tried to spoil him, but something about the dog always longed for independence, and a life outside of civilization. Akosua, obviously, was a very free spirited type of pooch.
On a cold winter night, his masters got into an argument, the female storming off and leaving the gate open. This was Akosua's chance, his time for freedom. He ran and ran, as far as his un-bound legs would carry him. When exhasution got the better of him, he plopped down on a large, flat rock, resting his legs and his eyes. He was so blissfully happy, he had yet to realize just where he was, or create some sort of plan as to what he would do now that he was free. Growls and grumbles could be heard from the trees, and Akosua woke to a pack of mutts, all with brightly colored tattoos all over their bodies, surrounding the rock.
"Why are you here!?" Barked the largest of the dogs, taking a step forward, his red tattoos seeming to flow across his back.
"Please, I'm a simple runaway. Let me pass, and you will never hear of me again," mumbled the shy and sheltered Shiba, unsure of what to say.
A smaller female, draped in a delicate lace design, slowly moved forward, licking the chin of the alpha male.
"Oh, daddy, must you be so harsh? Hello, welcome to our land. You look tired, and passing isn't exactly an option," she said, looking in the direction of the sea. A smile fell across her face as she whispered something in her father's ear, then looked back at the handsome young Akosua.
"Alright," boomed the alpha male, "he can stay. But he has to work, and carry his own weight. Does the pack agree!?"
Few words were spoken, but the majority of the pack agreed. As they walked off, the alpha stayed behind, sitting next to the scared and confused house pet. "My name is Ikenna, and I am the pack leader. I would thank the heavens my daughter took a liking to you." And with that, he stood and walked off, Akosua following shortly, smiling for the first time.
Months passed, and Akosua has proved to be a valuable member of the pack. Ikenna's daughter, Desta, has been helping him get used to the pack's way of life, falling for him more with each passing day. Now, it is time for his official acceptance in the pack- the tattoo ceremony. Proudly walking with his love, Akosua comes to the front of the pack, waiting for what he had been hoping for for so long.
"Akosua!" Boomed Ikenna, calling attention to the whole pack, "You have proved to be helpful to the pack, and wonderful to my daughter. Your hunting and fishing skills are beyond what were expected from a house pet, and you have the spirit of a warrior. For this, you are now one of the pack, and the time for your tattooing is now! For your strange love of the water, you will be represented by bright blue, twirling waves, also showing your spirit and brightness!"
Akosua stood proud, looking at the needles and bright ink. Desta licked his snout affectionately, then backed away, letting her father do what needed to be done.
"NOW! LET IT BEGIN!"
(Just say it,when you want to remove me this^^)
