What Could Be Improved About Nyrn's?
Well, this is just a suggestion but what if they could contain their orb in a crystal-like gem and hang it around their neck and it could still absorb things and such while still on their neck. :

Orbs are balls of energy Nyrn can create to show off their energy. They don't always have to be present. But I like the idea of them being able to store energy in their crystals. :)
