Name: Thriving Beauty "Jewels"
Gender: Mare
Extra: Jewels was bullied by the foals because they never seen a horse with her coat patterns before, they all made fun and called her ugly. So she believed them and always belittled herself, thinking that the other mares in the pastures were all more beautiful than her and that no stallion would ever want her. She believed that she was ugly and she kept to herself. Never making friends and never giving herself the chance to prove herself wrong. Over the years the belief became a statement in her mind and never went near the other horses. The truth was that she was afraid of being bullied again if she talked with the other horses. One day a new horse was put into the same pasture as her and approached Jewels. The new horse wouldn't leave Jewels alone no matter how much Jewels tried to make the horse leave. If the others saw this new horse around her, they might bully the horse too and she didn't want to be blamed for the horses misery. The new horse eventually asked what was wrong and Jewels had enough of bottling her emotions, everything spilled from her mouth. Next thing Jewels heard was something she thought she'd never hear in her life, the new horse had told her she was beautiful and envied her. The horse went on about out how the foals from her past were probably jealous, and the horse proved it by asking the other horses near by what they thought of Jewels. They all mentioned that she was beautiful and Jewels learned something new that day. Just because she was told something didn't make it true and it doesn't what you looked like, you are beautiful no matter what.
