About
Kill devil hawk-kits are found in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. They are found in the forests surrounding the area. It’s rumored that Wilbur and Orville Wright found this unique species, and studied their flying techniques to learn how to fly their plane in the windy area. Since the Wright brothers left the area they went back into hiding and people never saw them again. The brothers never spoke of them and the fact that they are so elusive means that nobody has found them till now.

Size and appearance
Hawk-kits have the front legs and head of a cat and the back legs and wings of a hawk. Their tail is covered in feather that can be different colors or the same. They are about the size of your average house cat. Their coats come in different varieties ranging from sand colored to more of a dark green or brown to blend in with the forests.
