Brook is Half-Rainwing and Half-Seawing
Her mother was a Rainwing (Patience) and her father was a Seawing (Flood).
Flood had a son named Clam from an unknown Seawing before becoming mates with Patience, giving Brook an older half-brother.
Patience herself had a mate before Flood, a Sandwing, whose name is undisclosed. He went missing for no reason and suspected dead after a while, but gave Patience an egg before going missing, who was named Adder.
Brook is the youngest, Adder is the second oldest, and Clam is the oldest.
Clam is 13, and has a daughter of his own, Pearl -from an unknown Seawing- who is 2 1/2 years old.
(All of these dragons listed, except for Patience's old mate, are still alive)
So, because of this, she can withstand high underwater pressures, swim, breathe, and glow underwater better than most Rainwings, not saying that she could do all of those things to a full ability, just better than a Rainwing could. She can still blend in like a normal Rainwing, but changing colours to her mood is harder.
