Despite having based two previous entries on classic rock songs, making an entry based on a song I heard on the radio in my childhood is what REALLY makes me feel old.
I'm just gonna straight up say what this one is, since it's neither a song learned of from a popular narrative podcast or a classic. It's called "Save Tonight," as the title suggests, and it's by a band called Eagle Eye Cherry. It is about melodramatically lamenting the fact that you will be separated from your lover on the 'morrow and it's dumb and I love it.
