Everly absolutely loves her
sugar cubes. She doesn't
get them often, but I'd you
give her one, she will be your
friend for life.

What is your dicipline?
Everly is a professional dressage
horse. Her graceful movements
and confidence make her a dream
to watch in the arena!

If you were a Disney character,
who would you be?
Everly would most likely be Belle
from Beauty and the Beast. Though
most of the time she is quiet and
soft spoken, she does have a fiery
side to her. But rarely does it show.

Who is your companion?
Everly's companion is a small
tortiseshell barn cat by the name
of Whiskers. The little cat can be
found in or outside Everly's stall,
usually sitting on a bale of hay or
balancing on the stall door. If Everly
isnt in her stall, the cat can usually
be found nearby or rubbing up against
Everly's legs.

What is your favorite season?
Everly loves fall. She enjoys all
the beautiful colors and the falling
of the leaves.

What is your favorite seasonal
activity?
Everly loves to run through the piles
of leaves in fall. It excites her when
they all fly up and around when she
crashes through the large piles.

Where is your favorite place to go?
Everly' favorite place is under the
willow tree in her pasture. She loves
how its whips drape over her back
as she walks under it and how she
feels to be on her own little world
when she's underneath it's wide
branches.

What is your biggest fear?
Everly's biggest fear would be if she
was all alone with no one else in the
world. She loves being in the company
of others, so being alone frightens her.

Who is your hero?
Everly's hero would be her mother. She
was very attached to her and they were
nearly inseparable. Though all mares
and foals are, but they grew a deeper
bond and Everly looks up to her.

How would your friends describe
you?
Everly can be described as patient,
elegant, quiet, and loving.

What are two pet peeves of
yours?
Everly's biggest pet peeves are loud
noises and constant nagging. She
doesn't like being harped on over
and over, and loud noises just
bother her to no end.

Do you collect anything?
Everly collects bird feathers. She
just thinks they are so beautiful
with the colors and patterns. She
loves how they are perfectly made.
Each and every one is different in
some way.

If you had to choose to live
without one of your five senses,
which one would you give up?
Everly would give up her sense of
smell. She feels there are probably
more bad smells than good ones
out there so why not.

If you had a warning label, what
would yours say?
Everly's warning label would say
she is very doting and likes to make
sure others are okay. In this way,
she is kind of like a mother hen.

If you could live in a book, TV
show or movie, what would it be?
Everly would make a great character
in Downton Abbey. She likes to think
of herself as well mannered and vintage.
She is graceful and kind and she loves
the show.

How do you want to be remembered?
Everly would like to be remembered as the
kind and gentle helper. He wouldnt want
to be seen as obnoxious or nosy. She
prefers to sit back and be observent, but
help others as needed.

In what ways are you a follower?
Everly is definitely a follower. She
doesn't like to be. The center of
attention, but she will take the lead
if no one else is willing or to stop a
fight from starting.

If you could have one superpower,
what would it be?
Everly's superpower would to be able
to read minds. She would like to know
what people's worries are and what they
think about so she can better
understand and help them if they need it.

If you could time travel, would you
go to the past or the future?
Everly would go back to the past, the
way she sees it, is that the past was
so peaceful, slow and easy going. Now
a days, everyone is on the move and busy
all the time. She prefers to take things slow.

Personality: Everly can be described as none other than angelic. She is so graceful and fluid in her movements that she makes the perfect dressage horse. She is very delicate with everything and everyone she comes in contact with, and the amazing part is she is still very young. Her wisdom and grace are amazing for her age. This mare seems to always be optimistic and see only the good in everything. She hardly ever makes any sort of mistake. She is also very affectionate and loving and takes everyone under her wing

Welcoming Everly (425 words):
The trailer arrived early that day, around eight in the morning. The other horse's were already fed and let out to pasture or started on their daily exercises and training. It was quiet now, except for the occasional whinny or stomping that was commonly heard throughout the day. I approached the driver and to signed off on the shipping paperwork he handed to me as he headed to the rear of the trailer to open the door. He walked inside, and after a few moments came walking down the ramp leading a beautifully tall, young mare. The one I had purchased a few weeks previously from a breeder in another state.
I handed him back the clipboard, taking the black lead rope from him and exchanging a few words of thank you. He closed up the trailer and soon left, continuing on his long drive to wherever he needed to be next. I looked over the mare now, running my hand over her back and barrel, checking her legs and making sure she was overall unaffected by her long trip. She seemed to be far better off than I had anticipated, seeing some horses be a bit shaking on their feet after a long trailering. I led her around in a circle or two before approving that she was in perfectly fit condition.
I then led her towards the barn, she seemed confident and took the new sights and smells in stride. No reaction came from this mare and I was surprised at the fact. Some horses coming to a new place are usually very anxious and apprehensive towards their new surroundings, but none of that came from her. After letting her see the barn and being able to walk through it, letting her smell the occasional things she was curious about, I saw no better way for her to get settled than to let her put to pasture. I picked one of the smaller, closer pastures to start, there were a few trees for shade as well as a water trough at each end. It wasn't a pasture we used much except for new horses or for mares and young foals. I released her inside and she immediately trotted off towards the center of the pasture and put her head down to graze. She was relaxed and seemed comfortable in her new surroundings.After watching her for almost fourty-five minutes, I was confident that with a few days of relaxation and meeting her pasture buddies that she would be ready for some training.
