The two super heroes suddenly were pulled from their battle and placed into giant white terrain. They began to slowly fade into their own bodies and both knowing what happened.
They died.
The battle was too much for the two and the villain had taken their young lives away.
The blue tiger shifted around awkwardly, and looked to the new blue wings that had sprouted on his back. He turned away from his partner.
"Where do we go now 'Yeena..?" tears beginning to spill from his eyes.
The hyena girl turned to him, her eyes filled with the same tears. She gave the tiger a weak smile, but not without her lip quivering.
She just shook her head. Suddenly a gap opened in the white and it was a like a portal to the real world. They could see everything below, but they were focused on two certain heroes. They both sighed and the hyena hero began to sob.
"S-See? Silly T-Tiger. We- We watch them until it's thei-their time." The boy's ears perked up and smiled at the two below them.
"Well, we will make sure that isn't ever anytime soon." They both sat down, their bodies finally finished fading into their new reality. The two wiped their tears away and watched them return to their normal lives.
The tiger and hyena were now guardian angels. Forever in the white room, only sometimes venturing out into the real world.
