Zolaru (Zoh-Lar-Oo)
Zolarus are rare, small forest dwelling creatures, usually growing no bigger
than eight inches tall from the bottom of their hooves to the top of their heads
with the males being slightly smaller than the females. Their diets mainly consist
of a wide array of plant life, usually of poisonous varieties, which the gem-like
structures on their chests convert into magical energies over the course of a week.
The gem-like structures on their chests are vital to their daily life as they convert
their food into the energy needed for them to fly and defend themselves with weak
spells. A Zolaru with missing or damaged gems won't live very long at all.
Zolarus as a species typically stay away from humans, as well as larger creatures in
general, as much as possible. However, there have been individuals known to occasionally
take interest in other species and show themselves in an attempt to make a friend.
This is a Closed Species. You may not create your own unless you are an artist for this species.
